Fabrics: 100% cotton gauze for the blouse and sash, dark brown. The skirt and jacket are 100% cotton calico in a dark pink and brown pattern.

Hem: 43"
This is a fairly simple ensemble, and one of the most common things ladies wore in the 1860s as casual wear.
(above) For this blouse I decided to use double cuff buttons, which are sort of cuff links, instead of doing an overlapping cuff. The buttons can be removed entirely for washing =).
(below) The blouse buttons are real coconut shell.
